Embracing holistic and human-centered design
A&M was proud to take part in the Architecture Summit 2025, held at Costa Navarino and organized by Boussias Events. Over two days of insightful discussions, the event brought together leading architectural voices to explore the evolving intersection of design, sustainability, nature, and human experience.
Rethinking public infrastructure
One of the key discussions centered on the challenges in designing large-scale public infrastructure. Speakers emphasized that public buildings must go beyond functionality, they should become landmarks that shape urban identity, respond to their surroundings, and enhance the daily lives of citizens.
Designing with nature in mind
Another highlight of the summit was the integration of natural elements, earth, fire, water, and air, into architectural thinking. From energy-efficient heating systems to passive cooling and local materials like stone, the conversation reinforced the value of sustainable, biophilic design.
Human-Centered Spaces
The final panel focused on human-centered design, emphasizing the importance of comfort, flexibility, and emotional well-being in modern architecture. Whether in workplaces, homes, or hospitality environments, buildings must adapt to human needs while promoting a sense of connection and belonging.
Participating in the Architecture Summit 2025 reaffirmed our commitment to holistic, sustainable, and user-focused architecture. We thank Boussias Events for curating such a forward-thinking platform and look forward to integrating these insights into our future work.
