We are thrilled to share that the Commercial Hub of The Ellinikon, part of the largest urban development project in Europe powered by LAMDA Development S.A., has successfully granted the building permit, marking a significant milestone in the project’s roadmap!

A&M Architects, as the project’s Architect of Record and member of an international design team led by Aedas a global architecture firm, collaborated extensively with all design consultants and Lamda’s team, leading the permitting process to the successful issuance of the Commercial Hub’s building permit. This unique project which is characterized as a Building of Special Architectural Design, includes a Shopping Center, Offices, and Retail Stores, with a total gross floor area of 185,000 sqm and 41,000 sqm of total green area in a plot of 122,231 sqm. The complicated and unprecedented permitting process involved numerous consultations and statutory approvals by local authorities, such as the Urban Planning Office of Ellinikon, the Central Architecture Council, the Attica Prefecture, and the Ministry of Environment.
The successful issuance of this building permit paves the way for the origination of the main construction with the excavation works already in progress. We are excited to witness the Commercial Hub coming to life and eagerly anticipating the unfolding of its expected timeline.
