Adaptive Workspaces by A&M Architects
Deloitte has unveiled its latest workplace transformation in Maroussi, Athens, housed within a newly renovated two-story building spanning 4,000m².
Designed internally by A&M Architects, the project redefines contemporary work environments, blending cutting-edge design principles with functionality and sustainability.
Originally an industrial storage facility, the building underwent a full-scale redevelopment, including an energy-efficient façade upgrade, new external cladding, and the addition of a striking metal mezzanine that extends across the ground floor. The interior was meticulously crafted to align with Deloitte’s corporate structure, integrating open-plan workspaces with a diverse range of meeting environments. Large-scale training and boardrooms coexist with intimate focus rooms and phone booths, fostering both collaboration and privacy.
A dynamic mix of work settings, from conventional desks and communal round tables to lounge seating and semi-private acoustic pods, offers employees flexibility in their daily workflow. The vibrant use of color, coupled with a biophilic approach, shapes an engaging and balanced atmosphere. Lush greenery, sustainable materials, and a carefully curated color palette enhance creativity and well-being.
Custom-designed acoustic partitions and decorative lighting solutions emphasize both innovation and performance, ensuring optimal acoustics and illumination. Meanwhile, bespoke graphic elements across key surfaces reinforce Deloitte’s identity, creating a multi-dimensional experience where design meets sustainability.
