Larnaca International Airport Food Court: A Testament to Functional Design and Timeless Aesthetics

In 2019, A&M Architects proudly completed the comprehensive renovation of the food court and seating areas at LCA International Airport in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The project was awarded to A&M Architects by Cyprus Airports F&B following a competitive tender, entrusting us with the full spectrum of design disciplines and project management for all F&B concessions across the Airside and Landside of the airport.
The renovation aimed to accommodate the airport’s growing visitor demand and elevate the traveler experience with a contemporary and welcoming environment. It featured the development of seven standalone food units, a vibrant food market housing five distinct concessions, and a thoughtfully designed common seating area, all seamlessly blending functionality and aesthetics. The result is a dynamic yet cohesive space where passengers can relax, recharge, and enjoy diverse culinary options.
Fast forward almost six years, and the impact of this transformation is clear. In late 2024, we had the opportunity to revisit and capture the progress of LCA International Airport, witnessing firsthand how the spaces we designed have evolved into bustling hubs of activity.
